Hi, I’m Sierra!
Cups of Cakes started with my love of baking, but somewhere along the way, it became so much more than that.
I’m a mom of four girls, a lifelong baker, and a firm believer that some of the best memories are made around a kitchen table with something warm in the oven and something sweet in your hand.
My love for baking began when I was young, making the recipes I grew up with and, of course, perfecting my Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies. Over the years, that love grew into cakes, cookies, pies, and my absolute obsession with working with leavened dough. But these days, I’m just as passionate about the stories behind the recipes as I am about the baking itself.
Cups of Cakes is rooted in the women who came before me, the Southern bakers, farmers, and business owners in my family who knew that food was one of the best ways to love people. I’m bringing those old recipes, traditions, and a little bit of Grandma’s kitchen into everything I make.
Because at the end of the day, I don’t just want to make something delicious.
I want you to feel like you’ve come home, pulled up a chair, and someone’s already put the kettle on.
Welcome to Cups of Cakes. I’m so glad you’re here.
